Mangia Catering is dynamic and resourceful company made up of creative, unique, passionate and results driven individuals.  Our team has successfully planned and produced a myriad of weddings corporate functions, and special events. Where We Started

Our roots started as an upscale full service restaurant, but as that came to a close Mangia Catering was born. With the foundation and understanding of quality food and service Mangia Catering started bringing high quality food and service to the greater Spokane and Coeur d Alene catering and event scene in 2011.

Mangia Today

Today Mangia Catering is one of the fastest growing, reputable and most called upon caterers in the Spokane, Washington / Coeur d’Alene, Idaho metro. Mangia Catering can handle events with the simplest, to most complex of details, feeding gatherings of 10 people-1,000 people+. With our team and resources Mangia Catering can produce multiple events, simultaneously on any given day.

Meet Our Team

  • Tim Mitchell-Founder | General Manager | Lead Event Producer

    Tim brings a wealth of knowledge to the wedding and event industry from his 10+ years of hands on experience. Tim started Mangia Catering out of his home kitchen and has grown it into the reputable catering company it is know of today. He continues to look feared to building deeper relationships with his clients, colleagues and community. His favorite part of the wedding and event scene is seeing all of the details come to life, making a memorable event, and a lasting impression for his clients. Tim’s proudest achievements in life are his faith in Jesus and his beautiful family of five. Those that know Tim know that his biggest honor in life is being a husband to his wife Erica, and a father, to his three beautiful children. Email Tim

  • Matt Logan- Co-Owner | Director of Operations

    Matt joined Mangia in June of 2015 as partner and Operations Manager. Matt’s previous experience as machinist has helped Mangia’s event logistics become more efficient and productive. In addition to efficiency, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge in the realm of technology. Aside from his business accolades, he is also a three time Ironman finisher and Washington State Motor-cross Champion. Now that he is a retired athlete he holds the record of eating the most candy then any other person on the Mangia team! Email Matt

  • Jon White - Kitchen Manager

    Jon White is a local of the greater Spokane area who brings with him 17 years of restaurant management experience. Understanding the importance of attention to detail, he prides himself in creating truly remarkable experiences for Mangia Catering clientele. With a passion for food and the relationships that are made around the table, Jon loves the trust placed in him to make your event successful. His favorite meals to create are recipes that he learned from his mother and have been handed down through generations. When not at work, Jon is taking in all the beauty that the outdoors of this area has to offer. He enjoys taking adventures with his wife and two children and rediscovering the world through their eyes. While he is honored to lead the Mangia Culinary Team, he takes the most joy in his titles and role of both husband and dad. Email Jon

  • Jessa Jones - Creative Director

    Jessa has 9 years of knowledge and experience in the design industry beginning with her attendance and graduation from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA. Her background lies in wedding planning, event design, e-commerce fashion and graphic design. In her latest creative venture she opened her own custom backdrop design & event rental company on the East Coast. The business is still growing today and she now resides in sunny Phoenix, AZ with her husband and 3 year old daughter, Josie. When she’s not designing you can find her soaking up sunshine by the pool, hanging with friends, in a group fitness class, or loving on her family. Email Jessa
